Be able to self-load Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading position, and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.Ability to offload using hoses and hose connectors. Hoses are usually 2 inches between 25-50 feet. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.Review all Bills Of Lading, certificate of analysis and other paper work that pertains to the load for delivery. Meet Department of Transportation qualifications as required by US law. Be able to follow any and all MTO/ DOT and EHS rules and regulations. Follow Human Resources policies in compliance with all Federal, State, Local laws and regulations.While driving for Chemtrade; follow all Chemtrade rules and regulations as well as all customer rules and regulations. Become familiar with plant operating procedures. Other duties as assigned.What You Need To Be SuccessfulHigh School Diploma or GED. Must have a valid commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A with all appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements. Minimum of two (2) years driving experience in similar Liquid Tanker equipment.A clean driving record for past three (3) years. Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid medical card. Be able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade.Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills and computer knowledge. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team.
