Responsible for ensuring that all QP Emergency Healthcare, vehicles, treatment centres and staff are fit to respond and manage medical emergencies at all times in all QP locations• Directs the planning, development and operational management of QP Helicopter Emergency Healthcare (HEMS). Responsible for ensuring that QP Paramedics Patient cabin of the helicopter, and helicopter medical equipment are fit to respond and manage off shore medical emergencies at all times.• Responsible for managing the delivery of high quality life support programmes to satisfy the need of QP and affiliated companies• Manage the design and development of life support programmes to meet the requirements of QP Healthcare department and subsidiaries based on up to date methodologies with effective utilization of resources.• Manage the selection and approval of life support QP In-house faculty staff, ensuring that design, and delivery of the programmes is of QP standards• Maintain accreditation with international and national recognized scientific and research bodies (Example: American Heart Association [AHA])Experience & Skills• Minimum of 5 years of Paramedic experience• Minimum of 3 years of air medical experience• Minimum of 2 years of leading or supervising EMS department or section • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experienceEducation• Graduate from recognized medical emergency technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) program or equivalent • Certified international instructor in at least one of the advanced life support courses • Certified on Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent (essential).• Certified on International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or equivalent (essential)• Certified on Major incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) or equivalent (essential)
