At Qatar Petroleum, we are committed to one thing aboveall: Excellence.DepartmentMAINTENANCE (REFINING)Primary purpose of jobCarries out Preventive Maintenance and breakdown jobs related to ESD and FGS Monitoring System Pertaining to Refinery 1 & 2, Condensate Refinery, RFCC, Chemical Plant, SRU, Utility and offsite area’s under the instructions of Supervisor, to contribute the organization, by reducing the breakdown, which minimizes unnecessary trips /shutdowns that cause considerable production losses.Experience & SkillsRelevant specialized courses in processed instruments, ESD and FGS system Boiler Management System, Air Blower, Compressors, and other minor packages. Short courses in safety and specific manufacturer's systems and maintenance procedures.Incumbent must have at least 7 - 10 years of experience as Instrument Technician in oil Refinery, gas or petrochemical industry. Should have experienced with F&G (FSC-Honeywell), ESD (FSC-Honeywell), and sufficient exposure in instrumentation design and project work is also desirable. EducationCompletion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 2 years formal full time training in Instrumentation, Control Engineering Diploma or similar, to Ordinary National Diploma level or equivalent
