At QatarEnergy, we are committed to one thing aboveall: Excellence.DepartmentFIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)Primary purpose of jobPerform the safe and efficient operation of production, utility and safety equipment in line with QatarEnergy policies and all relevant statutory regulations. Will be assigned to specialist area of oil, gas or utilities, and will be responsible for application of isolations and monitor LO/LC systems and operational safety registers. Will also be required to perform first line maintenance in these areas.Experience & Skills• Successful completion of QatarEnergy Competency system for the position• Experience in working with a multi-national workforce, in rotational & shift patterns.• 5 years’ experience working with process equipment, pumps, compressors, separators, chemicals, including Control Room Operations.• Have experience of interfacing with other groups i.e. Maintenance, Safety and Engineering.• Good knowledge of HAZOPS, Job Safety Analysis and On-site decision making.• Knowledge of Electronic Control of work systems (e-PTW), Risk Assessing tasks, SIMOPS management.EducationMinimum Education: Secondary education with further college education or vocational certification (Apprenticeship, etc.).Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industry.
