In the UK, our CR alliance partnerships cover a wide range of areas.As a National Account Manager/Supply Chain Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for a program of continuous improvement through the end-to-end management of Supply Chain Partners to ensure profitable growth, now and in the future. No day is likely to look the same as he/she stewards partner performance, works to optimise product availabilities and makes continuous improvements. Due to the wide scope of work, the position holder must have the necessary skillsets and experience needed to manage the contractual obligations with our service partners whilst having an excellent understanding of Supply Chain processes and commercial opportunity enablers. The role will need to form clear and robust ways of working with the service partner teams. Key accountabilities: KPI and Delivery-On-Time Tracking; monitoring service provider performance to optimise revenue and profit generation Management of financial reports; overseeing service providers financial reporting, document control and onward distribution YOY performance reporting; measuring sales and volume metrics against prior year performance Format volume tracker; ensuring optimum delivery is maximised Reducing leakage; ensuring that business revenue is optimised, and the use of illicit service providers is minimised at our service stations Running operational meetings on a weekly and monthly basis; performing stewardship tasks and monitoring service partner performance against SLAs Resolution of Retailer, Service Station and/or Delivery issues; acting as point person for all issues pertaining to the provision of the supply chain or CR products and services Delivering route optimisation programmes; ensuring that efficiencies are unlocked across the company owned network of service stations Responsible for on time generation of service provider purchase orders; ensuring supply chain income is raised in line with the forecasted month to month CR T&R budget Hosting Quarterly Business Reviews; measuring service providers against their contractual obligations and capturing future actions in a formal RAIL Establish a multi-functional relationship across different levels of the UK business; ensuring continuous improvement of the UK CR proposition and excellent execution throughout the businessThe Candidate: Wholesale distribution services experience Direct experience or a clear understanding of the UK convenience retail business will be a clear advantage in any application. Robust analytical skills with a rounded understanding of the dynamics of the shopper and the retailer, underpinned by an understanding of Supply Chain complexity and challenges. High functioning understanding of the metrics for sales, margin and profitability supported with strong understanding of all performance influencing factors Experience in use of all core MI tools (Excel, Business Objects) Agility; able to respond at speed to changing business demands, reacting to challenging or unforeseen circumstances in a calm and measured manner Resilience; up for a challenge and able to prioritise workload when under pressure from different stakeholders Relevant experience; first-hand experience and understanding of FMCG or direct consumer goods retailing experience, as well as sound knowledge of Convenience Retail in general. This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
