Must have experience with UK Labor LawWorking with the Centre of Excellence (COE) Leads including Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Talent Development, Compensation and Benefits and HR Systems to ensure all requirements for the Business Unit are met Responsible for HR support to existing projects, both in project offices and on remote sites Responsible for the planning, set up and ongoing support for new projects, including management of the new country entry processes e.g. set up of payroll, tax and social security structures, immigration procedures etc.Implements and monitors the Human Resources department’s goals for the AreaWork closely with the commercial team to ensure HR input into bids is robust Ensures that policies and procedures are linked to the Company’s business plan and goalsBuilds strong relationships with Business Line Leadership and is engaged to ensure that needs are identified and actioned timely and appropriatelyUses best practices and benchmarking techniques to ensure that the company’s HR policies and procedures, benefits and strategies remain competitive within the industryRecommends value added, short- and long-term HR strategies and plan changes designed to create and maintain a high level of employee moral Communicates with departmental managers periodically regarding human resources issues.Provide leadership by mentoring HR staff and provide the necessary tools to enhance their growthPromotes HR Strategy, plans and programs Other duties related to HR function, as directed by CHRO, SVP or VP HR Operations. Preferred EducationBS Degree in Business Administration or Related FieldPreferred Experience & Skills 15+ years within HR function with 5+ years in a managerial role in a large, global corporationA minimum of 15 years progressive HR experience with at least 5 years at Leadership level Experience in EPC sector ideally in onshore oil and gas Experience in setting up and supporting large projects, often in remote locations Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles, practices, procedures and employment laws, in particular all of some of UK, Europe, Russia, US and Africa Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project.Strong communication and relationship building skills Experience in Oracle HCM, Oracle Recruit or SAP would be advantagesExperience with Works Councils and Unions (Europe and US) would be advantages Works independently, plans, conducts, assigns and supervises assignmentsEffective written and spoken communication skills and proven ability to interact in a consultative capacity with senior and executive management and in a collaborative manner with other support groups.Business.
