This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Procurement Coordinator - Energy for our Houston, Texas office, supporting Energy, Underground Storage projects and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients objectives and solves their challenges. The Senior Procurement Coordinator - Energy, is responsible for creating and maintaining contracts, e-filing, data and quote collection, Health, Safety, and Environment ("HSE") compliance checks and other tasks as directed. This job requires a high energy level and a focus towards organization, data analytics and reporting, dealing with manual processes, effective task administration, and excellent customer service. This role supports client billable projects and the ability to adapt to client requirements and methods of working is a must. Your Impact Prepares services and material contracts and related documentation. Prepares and renews supplier Master Services Agreements ("MSAs") and Professional Services Agreements. Handles the quotation process for the acquisition of project materials, goods, or services. Follows up with suppliers to obtain executed contracts. Ensures all the required documentation related to contracts is gathered from suppliers. Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders (such as Purchase Orders, short form contracts, work orders, etc.), order changes or cancellations. Interacts with the internal company and external supplier legal counsel regarding contract terms, adjustments, requested amendments, etc. Files electronic copies of project specific and general procurement documentation. Examples include contracts, bids and quotations, and Material Test Reports ("MRTs") that are part of a project deliverable. Organizes all corresponding project documents in the proper project folder and the proper project sub-folders, following the established filing structure. Collects and analyzes project-related or general procurement data for purspose of reporting, client data requests, project control inquiries, audit requests, etc. Creates and maintains specific spreadsheets for purposes of documenting project bids, ensuring supplier master contact and MSA lists are up-do-date, etc. Performs HSE compliance and verification checks following the established processes and guidelines and utilizing current systems and databases, such as ISNetworld. Who You Are Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with Associate's Degree or Bachelors degree preferred. 5+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, especially in the Energy-Oil & Gas industry. Skilled at interacting with various departments and business units Project Managers, Engineering, Cost Control, Management, Clients. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications. Self-starter with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving and skills. Advanced Excel skills is a must. Proficient in working with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to be hands-on. Experience working and prioritizing a demanding workload in a manual environment. Skilled at understanding manual processes. 1-3 years of experience in managing multitude projects simultaneously. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Enterprise view of end-to-end procurement processes and ability to identify and address inefficiencies. Knowledge of supplier pre-qualification concepts and processes. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties at any level of the organizational hierarchy. Exceptional analytical and written and verbal communication skills.
