The position utilizes skills, display efficient multitasking abilities, and detailed oriented. Ultimately, exhibit knowledge, technical expertise, and operations experience to assist, teach, and coach plant personnel. The Technical Manager troubleshoots process or equipment issues, improves process performance. This position will require up to 30% domestic travel. Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental Start on the 1st day of the following month after being hired401k with Company match of up to 6%! 10 Company Paid Holidays PTO & Vacation& Much MoreResponsibilities and Duties:Direct involvement with Saxonburg atomization operation.Coaching the team to run the Saxonburg atomizer.Improve performance of the Saxonburg atomizer.Add capacity to the Saxonburg atomizer thru capital improvement project.Improve yield in all atomizers (Saxonburg, Tamaqua Main Atomizer and Tamaqua Pilot Atomizer).Improve safety in all atomizers.Assist local technicians at both plants in conducting trials, data capture, and analysis.Support Pilot atomizer by process improvement through local technicians. Provide assistance in procedures, work instructions, assist with quality investigations, with product and process improvement at both plants.Communicate findings to management.Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and projects.Analyze, optimize, and improve products and associated manufacturing processes.Demonstrate personal leadership by coaching and intervening when appropriate.Oversees completeness and accuracy of project teams work within the atomization technical discipline. Provides technical guidance and support to team members to achieve overall project objectives.Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, in science in metal engineering, or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experienceRequires five (5) or more years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.Background in in powder characterization, powder consolidation processes, and/or powder production technology is preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.MS Office knowledge, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
