Our client is currently seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist with managed services experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The IT Analyst is responsible for a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to the following:Work directly with customers on support issues and service requestsCoordinate with team members to ensure timely resolution of incidentsEnsure customer satisfaction by maintaining service status updatesOrder, process, configure, deploy, manage and maintain equipment and inventoryInstall and maintain hardware deploymentsInstall and maintain software deploymentsProvide desktop and infrastructure support as neededCoordinate with carriers, service providers and vendors to correct issuesDevelop, manage and maintain vendor relationshipsProvide technical assistance during mergers and acquisitionsDevelop and maintain support and operational processesConfigure and maintain management and monitoring systemsPlan, execute and support office movesSupport Oil and Gas field personnel including those on drilling rigs and remove production officesEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years in an IT Support/Analyst roleProficient in Microsoft OfficeWindows Server 2012 or laterActive Directory ServicesBasic to intermediate networking skills VLAN configurationSwitch and router configurationRouting protocol configuration (RIP, IGRP, EIGRP)Proficient scriping/development skills in PowerShell and Visual BasicMonitoring and alerting system configuration and managementOffice 365, Azure, AWS and other cloud hosting servicesNetworking protocols and components (DHCP, DNS, etc.)Virtualization technologies including VMWare, HperV and VDIOil and gas industry experience is preferredMust be based in Houston
