Our goal is to employ innovation and strategic thinking by capital project subject matter experts to deliver optimum results.PTAG’s vision is to help our clients become global leaders in the planning and execution of their capital projects.Safety: The safety of our employees, suppliers and clients is our top priorityCollaboration : Creating true partnerships with our clients and service providersLeadership : Becoming leaders in our industry and in the communities where we workAccountability : Being accountable to our clients for every aspect of an engagementClient Satisfaction : Delivering 100% client satisfaction on every projectIntegrity : Open and clear communication in every aspect of our businessLocation : Rochester, NYType of Employment : ContractRole & Responsibilities:Responsible for constructing projects within schedule, budget, and scope requirements as defined by the Project TeamManages the construction contractor’s performance in the field, ensuring quality scope and schedule are upheld in the construction of electric transmission facilities and equipmentEnsures work is being performed in compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety, EHS regulations and issues stop-work order when adverse risk is identifiedCoordinates with the EHS team to ensure the projects are maintaining best practices and fully report necessary EHS issuesIdentifies mitigation measures to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites and aids Project Team in executing revised plansCoordinates with the Project Team to develop schedules and budgets for the projectsCoordinates with the Project Team to ensure that materials and equipment resources meet specifications and are delivered on timeAdvises supervisory, transmission planning, system operations, engineering, and design personnel on matters such as technical specifications, constructability, work procedures, safety procedures, and any actions needed to help the project succeedParticipates in the preparation of contracts and revisions to contractual agreements with engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Obtains all necessary permits and licenses for a given project by managing respective contractorsAssist Project Team with the acquisition of easements or purchase of property for new constructionRequirements:Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Electrical disciplineMinimum 10 years experience and 3 years in Substation Construction.PSE Power System Electrician journeyman status or Power Lineman journeyman statusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership qualities with a demonstrated track record of dealing successfully with internal and external customersResults oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelinesUnderstanding fundamentals of contracts and experience in managing contractors under the terms of a contractKnowledge of OHS and Regulations and electrical codesThis position is seeking a professional with leadership qualities that will allow you to fully test your abilities and expand as PTAG continues to grow its business.
