DescriptionKoch Heat Transfer is seeking an Aftermarket Part Sales Representative at our corporate office in Houston.The ideal candidate for Aftermarket Product Sales Representative will be someone that is independent, self-driven and thrives in a goal driven environment. This is a position requiring someone who possesses a high sense of urgency, is customer focused, and exhibits a keen attention to detail.The person in this role will report directly to the Aftermarket Sales Manager and will work with different departments across the company.At this time, we are looking for local candidates living in Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK. We are not offering relocation assistance and/or visa sponsorship for this role.What You Will Do In Your Role Review customer inquiries for scope of work. Utilize market based pricing to provide customer quotations. Analyze blueprints to determine customer product needs. Work independently and with available resources to coordinate delivery and technical clarifications while maintaining compliance with laws, job specifications and procedures. Screen all parties involved in the purchase and ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations. Follow and complete any training requested by the company. Apply the strategies and vision of KHT that will enable us to exceed customer and management expectations by discovery and innovation, high standards and expectations, best practices and focus to capture all opportunities to maximize profitability. Extensive Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and AdobeThe Experience You Will BringRequirements: At least two years of experience as inside sales, customer service, quoting, coordinator OR technical sales support role. At least two years of experience in resolving customer inquiries and/or complaints via phone and email or other means. At least one year of experience processing customer quotes and quotation orders. Computer skills and proven proficiency with MS Office products At least two years of working experience with compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information in Excel. Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment. Ability to read and interpret customer specifications. Embrace change and foster continual innovation. Proven experience establishing customer relationships in a previous sales role. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. High School Diploma or GEDWhat Will Put You Ahead At least two years of experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system such as Visibility, Oracle or SAP. At least two year of working experience utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools such as Sales Force. At least two years of working experience in the oil and gas industry. Pressure vessel/heat exchanger industry experience. Understanding of heat transfer. Knowledge and experience utilizing ASME, TEMA, NACE and/or API codes. Knowledge of fabrication process, metallurgy and code requirements. Familiar with estimating tools for manufactured equipment. Familiarity with ERP System such as Visibility Experience using Microsoft Access computer skills. Import Export Knowledge At least two years of working experience reviewing technical drawings.
