Contributes to the development and execution of product quality programs to support the client and company goals of operational excellence and customer/client satisfaction. Supports Quality Assurance programs and activities, including internal audits, non-conformance investigations, and corrective and preventative action (CAPA) implementation and monitoring. The QA Manager provides support, ensuring compliance with Client regulatory and ESFM internal procedures. The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the National Director of Quality Assurance. A strong background in manufacturing and quality assurance is necessary.The incumbent is guided through knowledge of the continuous quality improvement practices within the industry, current "good practice" quality guidelines and regulations, applicable laws, health, safety and environmental practices, principles of management and supervision, and Compass department procedures and policiesKey Responsibilities:+ Manages verification and validation procedures.+ Assumes responsibility for a variety of assignments and projects. + Provides QA support for all company regulated programs to include development and audit activities.+ Evaluates cleaning product conformance to standards and specifications.+ Supports both purchasing group (Foodbuy) and Compass Group programs and projects.+ Conducts a variety of technical research; develops briefs, position papers, standards, processes/procedures, executive summary documents, and similar written materials associated with role/responsibilities and assignments.+ Actively and cooperatively participates in team collaboration efforts to improve common workflows, procedures, and tasks to increase efficiency and assure stakeholder satisfaction.+ Providing subject-matter and functional support to on-site management.+ Develop corrective action plan based on Audit results and reviews with team.+ Reviews audit results w/client as needed. + Analyzing data to identify areas of improvement in the process related to reduction of deficiencies and deviations.+ Leads and collaborates on non-conformance and Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) investigations.+ Driving root cause identification, analysis, and containment action with urgent, but thorough investigations.+ Communicating results, metrics improvements, and necessary escalations to Quality and other department area leaders and managers effectively.+ Evaluating existing Quality documentation and procedures for compliance and accuracy.+ Exhibiting professional behavior with internal and external business associates that is compliant with company and customer SOPs.+ Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues related to quality and/or operational issues while meeting deadlines.+ Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and writing with multiple levels of management and across multiple functions.+ Prepares and maintains a variety of company records and reports as required. + Other duties consistent with the role where required and/or requested by manager.+ Travel is required; estimate up to 70% during heavy travel periods.Qualifications+ Ability to communicate effectively in verbally and in written format.+ Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities.+ Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.+ Ability to write reports and business correspondence. + Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through. + Potential travel and time away from home up to 70% is an essential requirement for this role.+ Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Education:B.S. Degree or equivalent related curriculum and/or experience required. At least 6 years of directly related experience required, including manufacturing quality control and quality assurance, and auditing.
