Job Title: Maintenance SchedulerLocation: Beaumont, TXCompany: Chemicals ManufacturerThe Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for managing the scheduling process of maintenance work at site in Beaumont. This position will require cross-functional collaboration with Planners, Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Technicians, as well as interface with other departments such as Production, Engineering, and General Maintenance Contractors.Job Responsibilities:Schedule maintenance work according to company Work Management ProceduresManage and facilitate coordination meetings between other departments to ensure resource availability and mitigate exposures to unsafe SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) conditions.Develop, maintain, publish, and distribute maintenance schedules, consisting of Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance activities on a weekly basis.Perform queries in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and scheduling software (Prometheus) to obtain the list of work ready for scheduling.Identify potential constraints that could impact maintenance schedules, apply reasonable schedule logic, and implement corrective actions.Continuously track and update any changes in the maintenance work schedule, such as break-in work and emergency priority work, which would cause previously scheduled work to be deferred.Work in close coordination with Maintenance Supervisors and Operations & Maintenance Coordinator when scheduling upcoming work.Assist with updates to CMMS database to ensure scheduling program continuity and links between scheduling program and CMMS remain intact.Assist with the development of KPIs and produce reports on schedule compliance.Perform other tasks as assigned.QualificationsLICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONSNoneEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TRAININGMinimum of five (5) years of experience in scheduling in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical facilities requiredMinimum of five (5) years of computer knowledge and experience in but not limited to scheduling software, MS Office Suites, such as Word and Excel required.With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
