Job Summary:The DDT-Technical Field Sales Representative will be responsible for the Mid-Continent areas and provide service on all NOV- DDS rental systems. The DDT-Technical Field Sales Representative will also install and rig down, handle rig repairs and service and provide a high level of customer service for product maintenance and repair in the field.The candidate will promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Manage, coordinate, and have overall corporate account responsibility for designated and assigned regional accounts. This person will coordinate regional and client efforts for assigned accounts. Including strategic planning, initiating new business, increasing current account share, and gaining business from competitors across all geographies.Responsibilities: Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved in a timely manner. Maintain contact with an established customer base; identify and establish new clients. Prepare and deliver bids for customers with a follow up report to sales manager. Work with technical support and customers to ensure completeness and accuracy of information. Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products. Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system. Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments. Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.Facility Specific Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate oilfield service equipment Maintain good customer relations (internal and external) Be available for scheduled "on call" duties, cell phone and email access necessary Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system Input service data into a service dept. laptop computer Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments Billing, inventory and paperwork Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner Customer training when necessaryQualifications/Requirements: High School and/or equivalent education with 2+ years' experience comparable work experience acceptable AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 2+ years' experience preferred Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred Electrical background preferred Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware preferred Must have clean driving record Must be willing to travel as needed - position requires travel over 75% of the time Ability to work weekends and willingness to be on call Good interpersonal skills* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
