You will report into our Quality Manager. This is a day shift position and typically works Monday - Friday. As a Process Leader, you are instrumental in the contract review and quality planning processes, as well as supporting various assignments to meet quality and compliance objectives. The position will work with external customers and also across the organization to build strong relationships, organize priorities, and communicate in a detail-oriented way to help others understand the purpose of processes and procedures.In order to be successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly grasp ATI's processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Inspection, Planning and union employees. The Process Specialist will be able to work in a fast paced environment with diverse personalities, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain harmonious working relationships in a dynamic environment and the ability to express and challenge ideas and convey information effectively in oral and written format.Primary Responsibilities Meet daily Sales Order approval goals through the use of accurate contract review and quality planning to ensure customer product conformance Research, read, understand and interpret customer purchase order requirements, contract agreements, specifications, standards and any necessary supporting quality documentation as it relates to customer/internal deliverables. Implement risk mitigation actions to improve Right First Time (RFT) compliance for contracts, manufacturing, testing, and inspection activities Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding contract review and quality planning Prepare reports summarizing information and trends related to contract review and quality planning Drive Continuous Improvement efforts to implement standards focused on accuracy and efficiency Assist in reviewing Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA) Be the process owner of an element of the Business Management System Tasks assigned by the Quality ManagerBasic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a bachelor's degree 2 years Contract Review experience can be substituted. Quality experience and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and Quality Systems.Required The ability to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) Security Clearance. Candidates must be willing and able to provide information necessary to verify eligibility and receive authorization to access Controlled Unclassified Information related to U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Department of Energy programs. Verification and authorization may be required from (1) the U.S. Government, (2) the security organizations of ATI's customers in the U.S. Government's defense and national security supply chains, or (3) ATI's Law Department.Preferred Qualifications Candidates must be comfortable managing conflict, change and multiples priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compliance/Regulation focused individual with a strong ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
