WelderBridgend£30000 - £33000PA The CompanyThis fast growing organisation manufacture pressure vessels, heat exchangers and fabricated equipment. The business is based in Bridgend and are owned by a larger International group. They have a world wide client base supporting clients from a wide range of industry sectors including OIl & Gas, Nuclear Power, Water Treatment and Heavy Industry. The RoleDue to business growth this organisation is currently looking for a number of permanent welders who will be responsible for:Performing high quality TIG, MIG, MMA and SAW welds on mild steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. Working correctly to the parameters of Weld Procedure Specifications. Understanding factory safety standards, be able to work safely and be aware of potential hazards in the workplace. Following safety protocol, including wearing PPE - such as air fed mask, gloves, protective footwear, ear plugs or defenders, etc.Gaining and keeping required welding codes qualificationsCarrying out welding tasks to required safety, quality and efficiency standards. The position is both permanent and full time. You will work 39 hours per week:Monday to Friday 06:45 - 15:45 and overtime is often available.RequirementsThe successful applicants will have the following skills, experience and attributes:Experienced coded TIG and Stick WelderMIG experience would be advantageous however is not essentialExperience in the Oil and Gas, or Nuclear industries Confident using factory equipment such as rotators, manipulators and cranesAbility to accurately read and understand fabrication drawingsHold or have recently held, Welder qualifications to ASME IX and EN 9606-1 standardsProactive, flexible and a team playerHave a high regard for all health and safety standards in the workplace In ReturnThis is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation.
