If you’re looking to take the next step in your professional engineering journey - take a closer look at BPA - a UK leader in the downstream energy sector – we might be just what you’re looking for.Senior Electrical Engineer (Hemel Hempstead/Hybrid) What will you be doing?BPA’s work revolves around the downstream oil & gas distribution sector (pipelines, storage depots, road & rail terminals, pump stations, etc.) and you’ll be delivering engineering assignments ranging from desktop studies and discipline design through to full project management of design, procurement, and site delivery as part of a wider BPA project team.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, it is likely that you will manage several projects in parallel, possibly leading multidiscipline project teams (with the support of your Team Leader). You will take an ownership of your projects, delivering to an agreed programme and budget, while effectively managing your supply chain, the procurement of materials and equipment, and leading specialist support providers and contractors. What do we need from you? An interest in the energy sector.Higher formal qualifications (HND or appropriate engineering degree); preferably a Member of Professional Engineering Institution.Discipline specific experience in design, project engineering and consultancy in a relevant industry sector.Minimum of three years’ experience, preferably in the energy sector (downstream oil & gas would be advantageous).Computer literate in MSOffice software applications.
