The role involves demonstrating industrial equipment and carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing after sales support. Main Duties:• All aspects of managing a sales territory • Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customers • Managing and interpreting customer requirements • Co-ordinating sales projects • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education• Recording of activity in company CRM system• Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings. • Work across a wide variety of environments including high end research in academia and the UK Manufacturing quality assurance and R+D facilities within a number of industries including; Automotive, Aerospace, Power Generation and Electronics Your Background – Territory Sales Engineer, Industrial InstrumentationApplicants of particular interest are mostly likely to come from an industrial sales, engineering or scientific background, with the desire to move into a more commercial customer facing technical sales role.Scientists or engineers with experience of working with Non-Destructive Test Equipment are also encouraged to apply, with the desire to move into a technical sales role.
